Hanley Foundation, established more than 30 years ago by Mary Jane and Jack Hanley, is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to give hope to individuals, families and communities affected by substance use disorders. The Foundation provides programming and grant support throughout Florida for advocacy, prevention, education and access to quality addiction treatment. The organization’s prevention programming is available to schools, churches and community groups through grant funding provided by the Florida Department of Children and Families, office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health.

Since 2014, when former client Caron Treatment Centers merged operations with the Hanley Center, Slatkow & Husak served as public relations counsel for Hanley Foundation. We have managed the nonprofit’s prevention and event public relations efforts by promoting the Foundation’s statewide leadership in substance abuse prevention, education and advocacy. In addition, S&H has managed media outreach for Hanley Foundation’s three annual benefit events, the Palm Beach Dinner, Family Picnic and the Golf Classic. Slatkow & Husak works with media throughout Florida to secure magazine, newspaper, TV and radio coverage, while also facilitating partnerships, ad messaging, website content, sponsorship opportunities and speaking remarks for the Foundation.
