Heather Abbruzze

VICE PRESIDENT/PARTNER

Heather Abbruzze graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in advertising and an outside concentration in special events planning. Prior to joining Slatkow & Husak Public Relations in 2013, she spent nine years as an events manager at Pepcom Inc., where she planned and facilitated national and international technology press events.

At Slatkow & Husak Public Relations, Heather began her career as an account manager and was promoted to vice president in 2018. In January 2025, she became a partner of the firm and, alongside Kelly, oversees a team of six employees. In her leadership role, she helps drive the firm’s growth, expand its client base and develop innovative public relations strategies. She also manages a diverse roster of clients, many of whom focus on charitable fundraising, community engagement and awareness initiatives.

A South Florida native, Heather lives in Boynton Beach with her husband, two sons and Golden Retriever.
